Player's world and background

Hernán Crespo, born in 1975, is an Argentinian international footballer who played as a centre-forward from 1993 to 2012. He played 64 official matches for the Argentine national team, scoring 35 goals between 1995 and 2007. He took part in three consecutive World Cup finals (1998, 2002 and 2006). At the 2006 edition in Germany, he was particularly outstanding, scoring 3 goals to win the competition's Silver Shoe. Renowned for his positional sense, his efficiency in the air and his technical precision in the penalty area, he remains one of the leading goalscorers in the modern history of the Argentinian national team. This figurine commemorates his international career with Argentina.
