Delivery time is usually 24/48 working hours (Belgium, Luxembourg) and 3 to 5 working days for France for all available items.

When you place your order, you can request your order to be delivered to an alternative address (work, parents, etc.) at no extra cost.

Terms and Conditions

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the conditions under which ShopForGeek, whose registered offices are located at 19 avenue Zénobe Gramme, 1300 Wavre, Belgium, provides users with an online sales and ordering service (hereinafter “ShopForGeek”). These General Terms and Conditions can be supplemented by conditions specific to certain headings. Before placing an order, the customer must always read the distance selling directives.

Article 1 - Application and enforceability

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders. Consequently, placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions by the customer. Except with formal and written acceptance from ShopForGeek, no particular condition can prevail against these General Terms and Conditions. Without express acceptance, any clause to the contrary from the customer will therefore be unenforceable by ShopForGeek, regardless of when it may have been brought to ShopForGeek’s attention.

For the security and certainty of the customer, ShopForGeek reserves the right to ask them for additional information and to refuse to fulfil the order in the absence of an adequate response. ShopForGeek may also refuse to fulfil orders if it appears that the customer intends to resell the products or if a minor places the order. This also applies when an obvious error has been made in the product description or in indicating its price on the website, despite the care that ShopForGeek pays to the accuracy of the information.

Article 2: Right of withdrawal

The consumer may withdraw from the contract, without having to give reasons, within 14 days of receiving the goods. This provision only applies to distance selling to consumers.

Items must be returned in their original condition and complete (window box, collector’s box, accessories, instructions, etc.) so that they can be remarketed.

Should a customer exercise their right of withdrawal within the aforementioned period, only the price of the products purchased and the shipping costs will be reimbursed. The return costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

The steps:

  • 1. The customer must notify our customer service department in writing (handwritten or digital) of his decision to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods.
  • 2. Once the right of withdrawal has been communicated to ShopForGeek, the customer has 14 days to send the return.
  • 3. Returns must be made in their original condition, ideally accompanied by a copy of the purchase invoice or order number. If this identification is missing, the time taken to process the return may be extended.
  • 4. In the event of a right of withdrawal on an order, or part of an order, benefiting from a promotion or special offer, the customer must return the goods free of charge or waive the benefit associated with this promotion/offer.
  • 5. As soon as we receive your parcel at our head office, a refund will be made using your original method of payment only.
  • 6. Return address: ShopForGeek, 19 Avenue Zénobe Gramme, 1300 Wavre, Belgium.

Article 3: Delivery

Items in stock are processed and dispatched from our head office within 24 working hours (excluding weekends, public holidays or notification on your ‘My web orders’ dashboard). Home delivery is normally by courier (ground floor only).

For items in stock at the time of ordering and requiring home delivery, the average delivery time is 24/48 hours* for Belgium, 3 to 5 days* for France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands and 7* to 14* days for the rest of Europe. *Excluding carrier delays.

When delivering to a pick-up point, the customer will receive a notification as soon as their package is available for collection upon presentation of their ID card. If the relay point chosen by the customer is no longer available at the time of delivery or if the latter is saturated, ShopForGeek reserves the right to deliver the order to the nearest available pick-up point.

Partial shipments are available in the following cases:

1. Pour une livraison partielle en point relais : Dès 39 euros d’article disponibles dans l’ensemble de vos (pré)commandes ou au solde de celles-ci (France, Belgique et Pays-Bas uniquement).

2. For home delivery: From €59 of available items in your (pre-)orders or when your order is paid for (France and Benelux only).

(Pre)orders not benefiting from partial delivery will be dispatched once all items are in stock.

As each order is linked to a specific payment and insurance, it is not possible to transfer items between two orders.

In the event of late delivery due to one of the carriers (Bpost/Colissimo/Mondial Relay), an investigation file may be opened via our customer service department ([email protected]). An investigation takes 20 calendar days. At the end of the investigation, either your package will be delivered, or it will be considered lost by the carrier and fully refunded by ShopForGeek via your original payment method.

In the event of late delivery at the end of a 30-day period (excluding any investigation underway at Bpost), your order may be reimbursed at your request via your initial method of payment, within a maximum of 14 days from the expiry of the above-mentioned delivery period.

If the parcel or items have been damaged by the carrier on delivery, or if one or more items are missing from your parcel on receipt, the customer must send a reasoned complaint to our after-sales service via [email protected], within 3 working days of receipt of the parcel. An exchange or refund will then be made by our services.

If the customer refuses to accept delivery or does not collect the parcel from a collection point, the time taken to return a parcel varies between 7 and 31 days depending on the carrier and the country (non-priority parcel). A return will only be reimbursed on receipt of the parcel at our head office, as in the case of a right of withdrawal.

For click-and-collect orders of items in stock at the head office, the delivery time to the shop is 72 working hours or 12 working days, depending on the point of sale. The delivery time per shop is indicated on each product sheet.

By accepting ShopForGeek’s General Terms and Conditions, the customer also accepts those of Bpost, Colissimo and Mondial Relay:

Article 4: Payment

Payment must be made when ordering, including pre-ordered products. The customer may cancel a pre-order (excluding processing) by contacting our customer service ([email protected]) and enjoying a full refund via their initial method of payment.

By validating a payment, the customer declares they have read our General Terms and Conditions.

Placing an order (payment) implies explicit and unreserved acceptance by the customer of these General Terms and Conditions. Except with the formal and written acceptance of ShopForGeek, no particular condition can prevail against these General Terms and Conditions. In the absence of express acceptance, any clause to the contrary submitted by the customer will therefore be unenforceable by ShopForGeek, regardless of when it may have been brought to the latter’s attention.

ShopForGeek accepts the following methods of payment: VISA, Mastercard, Bancontact, Carte Bleue, PayPal, and iDEAL.

Article 5: Prices

The prices listed on the Online ShopForGeek website are in Euros and include all taxes (including VAT).

For countries outside the European Union, the national carrier may demand the payment of customs duties.

Two promotions on the same item cannot be cumulated, the highest discount being automatically applied at the time of payment.

Article 6: Availability

We can accept orders while stocks last. We will inform the customer of the availability of the items sold on the information page for each item. If, despite our best efforts, items are not available, we will inform the customer of this by e-mail as soon as possible. In the event of permanent unavailability, an order will be cancelled automatically, and the customer will be reimbursed within 14 days via their initial method of payment.

In the case of special editions/collector’s items/exclusive items/limited editions (or any significant and identical names depending on the manufacturer), ShopForGeek reserves the right to limit orders to one item per customer. ShopForGeek also reserves the right to cancel one or more orders in the event that the manufacturer does not deliver enough stock.

ShopForGeek only deals with B2C. With this in mind, we reserve the right to cancel without prior notice any abusive orders exceeding the predefined quota on a special/collector/exclusive/limited version item (or any denomination with the same meaning depending on the manufacturer).

Article 7: Legal guarantee

All items sold by ShopForGeek online have a two-year legal guarantee, which only covers known defects existing at the time of delivery of the goods. This excludes:

  • Any direct or indirect damage to the item after delivery (oxidation, shocks, falls, etc.).
  • Replacing elements or accessories that need to be renewed regularly.
  • Damage resulting from fire, water, lightning, accidents, and natural disasters.
  • Defects caused expressly by negligence, poor treatment, poor maintenance, abnormal use or use not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Non-conformity must be reported within two months of being discovered.

Any request for replacement or reimbursement must be sent to our customer service department ([email protected]). In the event of third-party intervention not designated by ShopForGeek, the benefit of the guarantee will be cancelled.

This guarantee covering defects in conformity applies to the products themselves and not to certain types of plastic/protective cardboard used by manufacturers to protect them from impact.

As for cardboard packaging of certain items, its variations in relief, folds and colours fall outside the scope of the legal guarantee. This also goes for any millimetric defects that packaging may have due to handling and transport after leaving the factory.

If the customer receives a defective item, they must contact our customer service department by e-mail and send photos of the defect(s) found.

ShopForGeek will then organise a return, exchange or refund (depending on the stock status of the item).

Article 8: Refunds

Refunds of products in the cases referred to in articles 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 will be made within a maximum of 14 calendar days following the date on which the request or right was exercised by the customer and the customer’s bank file is complete.

Refunds are always made by the original method of payment, unless this is not possible. In the latter case, the refund will be made by bank transfer after receipt of the customer’s bank details.

The benefits obtained when a purchase is cancelled and reimbursed will be cancelled.

Article 9: GeekPoints

The GeekPoints loyalty system gives customers a 5% discount via a points system that can be exchanged for vouchers worth €5 (€100 of purchases, i.e. 10 GeekPoints = 1 voucher worth €5).

In the case of a cancellation of an order after receipt (right of withdrawal) or a pre-order before shipment, the GeekPoints received for this type of order will be deleted from your ShopForGeek account.

If a customer has already used a gift certificate associated with this type of order, ShopForGeek will deduct the amount from the refund they will receive.

Article 10: Applicable law and disputes

This contract is governed by Belgian law.
