Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

The Care Bears are colourful bears who live mainly in the Kingdom of Hugs, a world situated amongst the clouds. Each one has a distinctive personality and a symbol on their tummy, known as a ‘tummy badge’, which represents their character or the positive power they share with others.

Grosveinard, recognisable by his green colour and clover, embodies good luck and encourages his friends to stay confident even when circumstances seem unfavourable. Tougentille, who is pink and associated with a rainbow, spreads joy and helps others find their smile again.

Grosbisou plays a central role within the group. His heart-shaped symbol reflects his compassion, his sense of responsibility and his desire to bring people together. Grosjojo, the yellow bear carrying a sun, represents optimism, laughter and positive energy.

Grognon stands out with his blue fur and raincloud. Despite his sometimes pessimistic nature, he remains loyal, resourceful and always ready to help his companions.
