Origin and character’s universe
Originally published in 1986 by the master of horror Stephen King, *It* (IT) is one of the most famous, memorable and substantial horror novels in contemporary literature, brilliantly adapted for the big screen as a globally successful two-part film by director Andy Muschietti. The terrifying plot is set in the small town of Derry, in Maine, where a group of marginalised children known as the ‘Losers’ Club’ band together to confront an ancient, shape-shifting malevolent entity that awakens every 27 years to feed on the terror of the youngest among them. This creature most often takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown, recognisable by his retro costume, his cracked white make-up and his floating red balloons. This themed card game, published by Paladone, captures the meticulous and chilling aesthetic of this pop culture monster, making it ideal for adding a playful thrill to your traditional card games.
