Character background and universe (Lore)

Lobo is an alien from the planet Czarnia and one of the most feared bounty hunters in the DC Universe. Nicknamed the ‘Main Man’, he roams the galaxy on his space motorbike in search of lucrative contracts, fights and new opportunities to wreak havoc.

Lobo is the last surviving member of his species, having single-handedly wiped out the population of his home planet. Endowed with superhuman strength, exceptional stamina and highly developed regenerative abilities, he is particularly difficult to neutralise for any length of time.

Although he frequently uses firearms, chains and various alien gadgets, Lobo is also a formidable unarmed fighter. His violent and unpredictable behaviour regularly leads him to clash with Superman, members of the Justice League or other heroes from the DC Universe.

Behind his brutal demeanour, however, Lobo adheres to a particularly strict personal code. When he gives his word or formally accepts a contract, he generally seeks to honour it, even when this requires him to cooperate temporarily with his adversaries.

Dawg, depicted on the base of this figurine, is one of Lobo’s occasional companions. Space dolphins also feature prominently in his adventures, as the character displays an unexpected affection for these creatures that contrasts with his usual violence.
