Origin and background of the characters (Lore)

Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Son Goku, placing a strong emphasis on the character’s extraterrestrial origins, the arrival of the Saiyans and the conflicts that take the heroes far beyond Earth. The YuraColle range features several images directly associated with this universe, from Goku’s Magic Cloud to Vegeta’s Saiyan space capsule and the appearance of Frieza, one of the series’ major antagonists.

Vegeta, prince of the Saiyan people, initially arrives on Earth as Goku’s adversary before undergoing a transformation that gradually leads him to fight alongside him. Freezer, for his part, is intimately linked to the history of the Saiyans and becomes the central antagonist of the Namek arc. Piccolo, Goku’s former enemy, also evolves to become one of his key allies.

The two versions depicting Goku and Piccolo at the wheel capture a more everyday and humorous side of *Dragon Ball Z*, contrasting with the battles that dominate the series. MegaHouse thus brings together, in a single first wave of YuraColle, references to travel, combat and the lighter moments of the anime, whilst adding the collection’s characteristic oscillating movement.
