Hiccup is depicted standing on his hind legs, with his large wings spread out on either side of his body. His textured black skin, large green eyes, small ears and the various spikes running along his head and back replicate the key features of his appearance in the films.

A slot at the back allows you to insert coins and small folded notes. Its interior compartment provides space for small savings, whilst a bottom opening usually allows you to retrieve the contents without damaging the piggy bank.

Origin and character background (Lore)

Toothless is a Night Fury, an extremely rare species of dragon that the inhabitants of Berk initially regard as one of the most dangerous. Fast, silent and capable of firing powerful plasma blasts, he is shrouded in mystery for a long time.

After wounding Toothless during a dragon attack, the young Viking Harold Horrib’ Haddock III realises he is unable to finish him off. Instead, he chooses to set him free, nurse him back to health and gradually win his trust.

Toothless loses part of his tail fin during their first encounter. Harold then crafts a prosthetic for him, enabling him to fly again, though initially this requires the young Viking to ride on his back. This dependence gives rise to an extraordinary bond between them.

Their friendship profoundly transforms the society of Berk. Thanks to Toothless, Hiccup realises that dragons are not naturally hostile and gradually convinces his people to live alongside them rather than fight them.

As the saga unfolds, Toothless becomes the Alpha of the dragons and meets a Lightning Fury with whom he starts a family. Despite their respective responsibilities, his bond with Hiccup remains one of the central elements of the *Dragons* universe.
