Discover Assassin / Izou Okada from Fate/Grand Order with this Noodle Stopper figurine produced by FuRyu. Standing approximately 9 cm tall, this figurine depicts the Servant in his elegant ‘Awesome Dapper Suit’, also known in Japan as the Erou Ikechoru Suit. 

Izou strikes a relaxed, seated pose, with one leg tucked up and one arm resting on his knee. His outfit combines a grey shirt with rolled-up sleeves, a black waistcoat, dark trousers and short gloves. His two sabres, with their red scabbards, remain sheathed at his waist, immediately reminding the viewer of his status as a formidable fighter despite the more contemporary look of this outfit. His confident smile, his dark hair tied back and his expressive gaze are also carefully reproduced.

Like the other Noodle Stopper figures, this figurine is designed to sit on the edge of a shelf, a desk or another surface.

Character background and lore

Izou Okada is an Assassin-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order, inspired by the historical Japanese figure of the same name. The game portrays him as one of the famous hitokiri of the Bakumatsu era, renowned for his exceptional natural talent with the sword. Despite being an Assassin-class Servant, his level of mastery in swordsmanship is described as comparable to that of Saber-class combatants.

His style is based on a remarkable ability to replicate fencing techniques after observing them. This ability is reflected in his Noble Phantasm, Shimatsuken, which allows him to imitate various sword techniques within certain limits. His personality is a mix of excessive confidence in his own talent, an impulsive temperament and a complex relationship with Sakamoto Ryoma, whom he knew during his lifetime.

The ‘Awesome Dapper Suit’ outfit reproduced on this figurine is from the event ‘Showa Kishin Project – GUDAGUDA Ryoma’s Close Call! The Mystery of the Missing Nobbu Head. In the game, it is an alternative Spiritron Dress for Izou and can now be obtained via Da Vinci’s workshop. This Noodle Stopper therefore recreates a very specific look from Fate/Grand Order rather than simply an original outfit created for the figurine.
