GUNDAM - Gundam Artifact #6 - Assortiment 10 Figure 5.5cm

This sealed display box contains 10 boxes from the sixth series (‘Phase 6’) of theGundam Artifact range. Produced by Bandai Shokugan (Bandai Candy), this collection features plastic model mini-kits for assembly. The models in this series feature an ‘industrial product’-style aesthetic, characterised by a very high density of mechanical details and reworked armour panels.

Each individual box contains the sprues of parts needed to assemble a robot (around 70 micro-parts per model) with a final height of 5.5 cm. Originally moulded in a solid “Pale Orange ’ (Pale Orange) reminiscent of traditional resin garage kits, these static miniatures are designed to be painted by collectors. There is also a rare colour variant in translucent plastic ‘Light Emerald Green ", which the manufacturer randomly inserts into some boxes. As the boxes are sealed, the distribution of normal and rare versions is random. 

Wave 6 focuses exclusively on mecha models from the animated feature filmMobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattackand comprises 7 basic designs:  

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattackis a Japanese animated film released in 1988, directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino at Sunrise studio. Set within the Universal Century timeline (UC 0093), this feature-length film marks the climax of the historic rivalry between Earth Federation pilot Amuro Ray and Neo Zeon leader Char Aznable. The conflict pits Amuro’s robot, the RX-93 ν Gundam equipped with thePsycommusystem andFin Funnels, against Char’s massive red machine, the MSN-04 Sazabi, in the ultimate technological showdown. TheGundam Artifactrange translates these classic military designs to a smaller scale, emphasising the internal structures, assembly lines and technical textures of these space-based weapons of war.
