Celebrate 25 years of Halo with this Funko POP! Games No. 27 figurine dedicated to Master Chief, the iconic hero of the Xbox franchise. This anniversary edition depicts Spartan John-117 in his distinctive green armour, armed with his M6D Magnum pistol, one of the iconic weapons from the first Halo: Combat Evolved. Character background and lore

Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 is a super-soldier from the SPARTAN-II programme serving with the UNSC – United Nations Space Command. Born on the planet Eridanus II in 2511, he was selected as a child to join the Spartan-II programme and undergo intensive military training designed to create a new generation of elite fighters.

Recognisable by his green MJOLNIR armour and golden visor, John-117 became the central character of the saga from Halo: Combat Evolved onwards. Throughout his many campaigns, he plays a decisive role in the war between humanity and the Covenant, and subsequently in the conflicts involving the Halo rings, the Flood and several other threats capable of endangering the galaxy. Halo Waypoint describes him as a true living legend and one of the most important icons of the Halo universe.

The series made its console debut in 2001 with Halo: Combat Evolved, quickly establishing Master Chief as one of the Xbox’s iconic characters. In 2026, Halo officially celebrates its 25th anniversary, and this POP! Games No. 27 is part of that very celebration. The choice of the M6D Magnum is a direct nod to the Spartan’s early adventures and reinforces the retro and anniversary feel of this edition.
