Yaxley is a fearsome pure-blood Death Eater devoted to the dark forces. During the Second Wizarding War, following the clandestine infiltration of institutions, he managed to be appointed Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic under the influence of the Imperius Curse. A leading supporter of the totalitarian regime established by his master, he played an active role in the great battle of Hogwarts. It was during this decisive clash at the heart of the castle that he was finally neutralised, defeated by the combined forces of Lee Jordan and George Weasley.
