HATSUNE MIKU - Flower Fairy White Plum - Statue Noodle Stopper 12.5cm

Discover Hatsune Miku in a refined, floral interpretation with this ‘Flower Fairy – White Plum’ Noodle Stopper figurine produced by FuRyu. Standing approximately 12.5 cm tall, this figurine depicts the famous virtual singer in a seated pose characteristic of the Noodle Stopper range. The design is based on the theme of the white plum blossom, giving this version a more delicate and natural aesthetic than the electronic outfit traditionally associated with Miku. 

This version was designed by the illustrator Shibano Bancha. The outfit primarily combines shades of white and pale pink, with numerous plum blossom motifs incorporated into the costume. Miku’s long blue-green twin tails are also adorned with flowers and branches, whilst the skirt features a design reminiscent of large petals. The floral motif extends even to the character’s eyes, with plum blossom details incorporated into them.

The seated pose allows the figurine to be displayed on the edge of a shelf, a desk or a display cabinet, in keeping with the concept of FuRyu’s Noodle Stopper range. These figurines were also originally designed to be placed on the lid of a packet of instant noodles to keep it closed whilst the noodles are being prepared.

Origin and character background (Lore)

Hatsune Miku was originally a singing software programme developed by Crypton Future Media. It allows users to generate a singing voice by entering lyrics and a melody. First launched on 31 August 2007, Miku is associated with the voice of the actress Saki Fujita and is officially depicted as a 16-year-old girl, with an iconic blue-green colour scheme.

The success of musical creations published by users online quickly elevated Miku beyond her status as mere software. She has become a virtual singer and a figurehead for collaborative creation, appearing in concerts, video games, illustrations and a vast array of merchandise. She is part of the Piapro Characters, alongside Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO.

The ‘White Plum’ version is not a fixed narrative outfit for Hatsune Miku. It is an original artistic interpretation by Shibano Bancha, created around the theme of the white plum tree and adapted into three dimensions by FuRyu. The flowers incorporated into her hairstyle, her outfit and even her eyes thus develop a cohesive floral theme whilst retaining the long twin-tails and the blue-green colour scheme immediately associated with Miku.
