Narrative context and universe (Lore)

In the universe ofHazbin Hotel, a series centred on the rehabilitation of sinners in Hell, Alastor is one of the most powerful and feared Overlords. Nicknamed the ‘Radio Demon’ due to the radio broadcasts of the massacres he committed upon his arrival in the realm of the dead, he stands out for his brute strength, his courtly manners from the early 20th century, and his categorical refusal to stop smiling, seeing this as a sign of control and domination.
His narrative arc accelerates when he spontaneously presents himself to the hotel project of Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell. Although his underlying motivations remain ambiguous and driven by personal amusement, he puts his occult powers (linked to shadows and sound distortion) at the service of the establishment, becoming a key business partner in the face of the threats of extermination posed by the celestial forces.
