Derpy Tiger is a large, supernatural blue tiger from the demon world. Despite his imposing figure and fangs, he is best known for his clumsy behaviour, exaggerated smile and affectionate nature.

He regularly travels alongside Sussie Bird, a strange six-eyed bird who accompanies him on his journeys between the demon world and the human world. Their duo brings a significant element of humour to the story.

The appearance of Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird is inspired by traditional Korean folk paintings that typically depict a tiger and a magpie together. In these depictions, the tiger often adopts a naive or comical expression, whilst the bird plays the role of a more attentive observer.
