This superb, high-quality PVC statue depicts the formidable and charismatic Vice-Captain Soshiro Hoshina, from the world of the globally successful anime *Kaiju No. 8*.
The figure incorporates the stylish and elegant design features of Sega Goods’ “Xstellar” range, combining a natural pose with excellent visual accuracy. Stepping away from his official combat suit for a moment, the character is depicted here in a brand-new, casual summer look. The figurine perfectly captures his calm demeanour, his signature wry smile and his narrowed gaze, which conceals his deadly agility. Great care has been taken with her physical features and attire, notably her iconic bowl cut with purple highlights and the detailed draping of her dark-coloured, precisely tailored traditional Japanese yukata. The figurine adopts a fixed, stable posture, securely anchored on its included display base to ensure it stands perfectly on your shelves.Designed primarily for display, as a desk ornament or in a shop window, this collector’s item is delivered in its original window-style cardboard packaging, allowing you to admire the figurine whilst keeping it protected.Technical specifications

Character background and lore
In the high-octane world of Kaiju No. 8, created by Naoya Matsumoto, Soshiro Hoshina is the brilliant and formidable vice-captain of the Third Division of the Kaiju Defence Forces. Descended from a prestigious historical lineage of swordsmen dating back to the Edo period, he stands out from his peers by his refusal to use firearms, preferring to slice through his targets in close combat at supersonic speed with his twin katanas. Beneath his laid-back demeanour, polite manners and warm Kansai accent lies a tactical genius and an uncompromising military leader, capable of detecting even the slightest suspicious behaviour (such as that of the protagonist, Kafka Hibino). This version, in a yukata, reveals a more intimate and traditional side to the character, far removed from the tension of the battle zones.
