Character background and lore

Rumi is the lead singer and frontwoman of HUNTR/X, the K-pop trio she forms with Mira and Zoey. When the three artists aren’t filling stadiums, they use their powers and fighting skills to protect their fans from supernatural threats.

Raised and trained by Celine, a former singer and demon hunter, Rumi bears a special responsibility within the group’s mission. She must guide her bandmates both on stage and in battle, whilst concealing a secret linked to her own demonic origins.

HUNTR/X harnesses the power of its music and the energy of its audience to strengthen the Honmoon, a mystical barrier protecting the human world from demons. Rumi’s voice plays a vital role in this process, but her doubts and fear of revealing her true nature are gradually eroding her confidence.
