Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Nephew of King Théoden and brother of Éowyn, Éomer is the Third Marshal of the March, commanding the proud Riders of Rohan (the Rohirrim). Temporarily banished from the kingdom under the evil influence of Gríma Wormtongue, he remains loyal to his homeland and continues to hunt down the Orcs who defile his lands. Rehabilitated after his uncle's release, he distinguished himself heroically at the Battle of Helm's Deep and then at the Pelennor Fields. Following Théoden's tragic death on the battlefield, Éomer was proclaimed King of Rohan, consolidating the historic alliance with Gondor and leading his people into an era of peace and reconstruction.
