Introduced by Nintendo in 2017 in the 3D platform video gameSuper Mario Odyssey, the Wedding Suit is an iconic outfit that Mario wears whilst exploring the various kingdoms. This elegant white outfit directly echoes the plans of the antagonist Bowser, who orchestrated the kidnapping of Princess Peach in order to plan a forced marriage in the Kingdom of the Moon. With the help of his new companion Cappy (a spirit capable of transforming into a hat), Mario uses this official costume—which can also be unlocked via Amiibo figures—to infiltrate the ceremony and thwart the plans of the King of the Koopas.
