This plastic model kit is part of the SMP (Shokugan Modeling Project) range from manufacturer Banpresto. Designed as a model kit, this articulated model features a special metallic silver finish. The set includes a removable Hover Pilder module that attaches to the robot’s head, as well as interchangeable parts specially designed to recreate the iconic combat poses from the animated series, such as the Rocket Punch and Breast Fire attacks. Origin and background of the character
Created by manga artist Go Nagai,Mazinger Zis a major Japanese work first broadcast in 1972, considered the founder of the ‘Mecha’ genre featuring giant robots piloted from within. The plot follows the battles of the young pilot Koji Kabuto aboard an armoured combat robot, designed to repel attacks from Doctor Hell’s army of mechanical monsters.
