Origin and background of the collection

Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer developed using voice synthesis software by Crypton Future Media. Since her launch in 2007, she has become a major figure in digital music culture and regularly features in collaborations with Japanese artists, brands and companies.

Kuppi Ramune is a Japanese sweet produced by Kakudai. These small, fruity-flavoured sweets are recognisable by their colourful, retro packaging, featuring a rabbit and a squirrel. The partnership with Hatsune Miku has given rise to the character Mikuppy Ramune, who combines the colours and visual styles of both worlds.

This Muchūte figurine transforms Heiwa’s illustration into a three-dimensional model in pastel colours. It thus combines the futuristic aesthetic of Hatsune Miku with the nostalgic, sweet-toothed atmosphere of Kuppi Ramune sweets.
