Following the disbandment of the crew and the execution of its captain, Rayleigh retired from piracy to settle quietly on the Sabaody Archipelago as a ship-coating craftsman.

Despite his advanced age, Rayleigh possesses phenomenal strength and remains one of the few people in the world to have mastered all three forms of Haki (the Fluid) to perfection, including the extremely rare King’s Haki.
