Add the famous Gipsy Danger Jaeger to your collection with this DefoStyle Deluxe figurine, manufactured by Star Ace and inspired by the film Pacific Rim.

This stylised representation retains the key visual elements of the American robot, including its metallic blue armour, golden visor, red markings and the number 34 on its shoulders. The circular turbine mounted at the centre of its torso and the numerous mechanical details recreate its iconic appearance whilst maintaining the compact proportions characteristic of the DefoStyle range.

Standing at a stated height of 16.5 cm, the figure is made from soft vinyl and features eight points of articulation, allowing for a variety of poses. Several parts, notably the visor and the nuclear vortex turbine, feature fluorescent details that react to ultraviolet light.

This Deluxe Edition comes with a display stand, a support for dynamic poses and a UV lamp. The UV lamp is used to charge and reveal the figurine’s light-up effects. The sculpting, paintwork and articulation are identical to those of the standard version, but the latter does not include the display accessories or the UV lamp.

Origin and backstory of the character

In Pacific Rim, humanity develops gigantic combat robots known as Jaegers to battle the Kaiju, colossal creatures emerging from a rift at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

Gipsy Danger is a third-generation American Jaeger, or Mark-3, designed for close-quarters combat. It is piloted by two people who are mentally linked via the Drift, a technology enabling them to share their memories and synchronise their movements.

After being severely damaged during a battle against Knifehead, Gipsy Danger is repaired and returned to service to take part in the mission to seal the Rift once and for all. This DefoStyle Deluxe figure recreates its iconic armour in a compact, articulated version, enhanced with light effects and display accessories.
