Corpse Bride — Pop! Movies No. 2118 — Emily Patchwork
The sweet and tragic Emily joins Funko’s Pop! Movies collection in an original Patchwork version. Inspired by Tim Burton’s stop-motion animated film *Corpse Bride*, this figurine reimagines the famous deceased bride as a gothic and whimsical patchwork doll.
Emily is depicted in her signature wedding dress, reworked with mismatched patterns, exposed seams and details evoking various pieces of fabric sewn together. This patchwork finish perfectly complements the macabre, romantic and artisanal aesthetic of the film’s world.
The figurine retains the character’s key visual elements, notably her slender silhouette, her bridal veil and her ghostly appearance. However, the ‘sewn-together doll’ style lends her an even more distinctive look, whilst remaining instantly recognisable.
Made from vinyl, the figurine stands approximately 10.2 cm tall. It is presented in an illustrated window box bearing the number 2118, allowing it to be displayed with or without its packaging.

Character background and lore
Corpse Bride is a stop-motion fantasy animation film that immerses the viewer in a gothic world divided between the austere realm of the living and the far more colourful realm of the dead. The story follows Victor Van Dort, a clumsy young man betrothed to Victoria Everglot as part of an arranged marriage.
Whilst practising his wedding vows in a forest, Victor inadvertently places his wedding ring on what he thinks is a branch. It is, in fact, the skeletal fingerof Emily, a young dead woman dressed in her wedding gown. Misinterpreting Victor’s words as a genuine marriage proposal, Emily then draws him into the world of the dead.
Emily had once tried to run away to marry the man she loved. However, he betrayed her, stripped her of her jewellery and murdered her, leaving the young woman to wait in the hope that one day someone would finally honour the promise of marriage that had been made to her.
Despite her ghostly appearance, Emily proves to be sensitive, generous and deeply romantic. She becomes genuinely attached to Victor, but gradually realises that he loves Victoria and that a marriage between a living man and a dead woman could only be based on sacrifice.
At the end of her story, Emily chooses to release Victor from his obligations and renounces her own happiness so that he may be reunited with Victoria. Having also confronted the man responsible for her death, she finally finds peace and vanishes in a flurry of butterflies.
