Join a clan of alien hunters with this articulated figure of Kwei, designed by NECA for the Ultimate collection. Inspired by the film Predator: Badlands, it depicts the powerful Yautja warrior and Dek’s elder brother in a scale of approximately 17 cm, complete with a full set of equipment to create a variety of combat scenes.

The figure features detailed sculpting that captures Kwei’s imposing physique, his dreadlocks, his ceremonial armour and the various technological elements worn by the Yautja hunters. Its numerous points of articulation allow it to strike offensive poses or be displayed alongside other characters from the Predator: Badlands range.

Several interchangeable face plates allow Kwei to be displayed wearing his mask or with various unmasked expressions. Alternative hands are also included to adapt his grip to the weapons and accessories provided.

His arsenal includes Yautja swords in both folded and extended versions, a shield, and a small object described by the manufacturer as a Yautja ‘toy’. These accessories illustrate both the warrior traditions of his species and the brotherly bond between Kwei and Dek.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Kwei is an experienced Yautja warrior who is highly respected within his clan. As Dek’s elder brother, he possesses the strength, experience and status that the young hunter is still striving to attain amongst his own people.

When Dek is cast out by his clan and forced to prove his worth, Kwei chooses to help him rather than blindly follow the orders imposed upon him. He guides his brother towards a hunt that could restore his honour, thereby giving him a chance to fulfil his own quest.

The Yautja, more commonly known to humans as Predators, are an alien species centred on the hunt, honour and the pursuit of formidable adversaries. Their warriors use advanced technology, melee weapons and various defensive equipment, whilst adhering to strict traditions specific to their clan.

In *Predator: Badlands*, the relationship between Kwei and Dek is a defining element of the young Yautja’s journey. His brother’s sacrifice and the choices he makes lead Dek to question his clan’s rules and to forge his own understanding of strength, loyalty and honour.
