Origin and background of the vehicle

In Back to the Future, Dr Emmett Brown, nicknamed Doc, transforms a DeLorean DMC-12 into a time machine. The vehicle can travel through time when it reaches a speed of 88 miles per hour, or approximately 142 km/h.

Marty McFly accidentally uses the machine and finds himself transported from 1985 to 1955. He must then track down the young Doc Brown and ensure that his own parents meet, or risk altering his own life and the course of history.

With its gull-wing doors, stainless-steel bodywork and time-travel equipment mounted at the rear, the DeLorean has become an integral part of the trilogy. This 3D jigsaw puzzle allows you to reconstruct a detailed model of the car and display it once it has been assembled.
