Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek whose precious solitude is suddenly shattered by an invasion of annoying fairy tale characters banished from their kingdom. Shrek then embarks on a journey with a donkey to rescue Princess Fiona from a vile lord and regain his swamp.

Shrek and Fiona have arrived at their house in the swamp and this scene plays out in vivid applique detail. The hinged door on their onion carriage opens to reveal Shrek and Fiona inside, and there’s a hidden zipper pocket with extra room for storing smaller items for your travels. Their tree-root house reaches upward as a die-cut applique. You might also notice some memorable characters joining in on the celebration including Pinocchio, the Three Little Pigs and Donkey.
