Recreate the iconic showdown between the two machines from *Terminator 2: Judgement Day* with this decorative bookend designed by Nemesis Now. The set comprises two separate parts representing the T-1000 and the T-800, positioned back-to-back on either side of your novels, comics, films or collectable items.

The first part depicts the T-1000 in its metallic form, inspired by its mimetic liquid metal composition. Its silhouette echoes the police uniform of the officer it impersonates in the film, whilst one of its arms has been transformed into a long, tapered blade. The figure stands on an industrial-style base adorned with metal plates, pipes and mechanical components.

Facing him stands the T-800, stripped of its human shell. Its silver endoskeleton reveals its joints, pistons and mechanical plates, as well as its distinctive red eyes. It strides amongst human skulls, wielding an imposing weapon, evoking the future battlefields dominated by Skynet’s machines.

Crafted from resin with a metallic finish, this set combines storage functionality with a genuine collector’s display piece. Each section stands approximately 18.5 cm tall and features a vertical side against which books can be leaned. Weighing a total of 1.05 kg, it makes a striking statement on a bookcase, shelf or desk dedicated to science fiction cinema.

Origin and character lore

In Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the T-800 is an older model of Terminator reprogrammed by the human Resistance. Sent back in time, he is tasked with protecting the young John Connor, the future leader of the fight against Skynet. Despite his human appearance, he possesses an extremely durable mechanical endoskeleton and gradually learns to understand certain human behaviours and emotions.

The T-1000 represents a far more advanced generation. Made from a polymimetic alloy, this prototype can alter its appearance, mimic the people it touches and transform its limbs into bladed weapons. Sent by Skynet to eliminate John Connor, it proves to be faster, more agile and capable of regenerating after most types of damage.

Their confrontation forms the heart of the film: the T-800 must protect John and Sarah Connor against a technologically superior adversary. The contrast between the T-800’s mechanical endoskeleton and the T-1000’s liquid exterior is directly reflected in this bookend, which places the two machines in a visual confrontation inspired by the future war between humanity and Skynet.
