Discover the Amani Guard, a creature who serves as a guard and fighter in *Star Wars: The Mandalorian* and *Grogu*, with this articulated figure from Hasbro’s The Vintage Collection. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, it retains the range’s classic format whilst featuring detailed sculpting and multiple points of articulation, allowing for a variety of poses. 

The figure captures the distinctive physique of this alien species: a slender body with very long arms, an elongated neck and a broad head edged with greenish folds. Its menacing face features small red eyes and a mouth lined with irregular teeth. Shades of beige and olive green highlight the numerous folds in its skin as well as the darker patterns scattered across its torso and limbs.

The Amani Guard wears light armour consisting of dark straps, protective plates attached to the shoulders, forearms and thighs, and a decorative skull placed at the centre of his harness. This rudimentary outfit reinforces his appearance as a tribal guard and experienced hunter.

Two long weapons are included: a spear with a light-coloured tip and a staff decorated with several bones tied together with cord. The articulated hands can grip these accessories to display the creature in a guarding stance, walking or ready for battle. The set is packaged on a retro-style blister card bearing the film’s logo, the name ‘Amani Guard’ and a ‘Deluxe’ strip.

Origin and character lore

The Amani are tree-dwelling beings who have spread across various regions of the galaxy. Their flat, flexible bodies, elongated necks and disproportionately long arms give them an instantly recognisable appearance. They are frequently employed as guards or henchmen and have a reputation as tenacious hunters and particularly fierce warriors.

This Amani Guard appears in the universe of the film *Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu*, in which Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu undertake new missions for the New Republic. The figurine recreates his on-screen appearance and guard’s equipment, complete with his primitive weapons and bone-based ornaments.
