Regarded as the cornerstone of Bandai Hobby’s premium model kit range, the original Perfect Grade version of Amuro Ray’s robot is a legendary collector’s item. This kit, a masterpiece of engineering, offers a total immersion into the heart of the Earth Federation’s technology, featuring a strikingly realistic level of detail both inside and out to replicate the construction of a genuine 18-metre giant robot.

This ultra-high-end model showcases the finest materials. Hidden beneath its armour lies a fully integrated internal skeleton (Inner Frame) of fascinating complexity, reinforced by heavy metal joints secured with screws to ensure perfect structural rigidity and stability. The model is fully pre-coloured, with the body panels (white, blue, red and yellow) meticulously separated. Numerous movable armour panels (Hatch Open) are designed to open at the legs, torso and arms to reveal the internal mechanisms, actuators and chrome-plated circuits. The kit includes a fully transformable Core Fighter pilot module with a removable landing gear that slots into the cockpit, as well as a built-in LED unit that illuminates the Gundam’s eyes with a piercing yellow glow. The included arsenal is legendary: the Beam Rifle, the Shield, two combat sabres and the imposing Hyper Bazooka.

The assembly experience offers an exciting and deeply rewarding mechanical challenge. No messy glue is required; all components slot together seamlessly using mechanical pressure, thanks to Bandai’s Snap-fit technology. A full sheet of military tactical decals is included to perfect the finish. Once completed, this 30 cm-tall colossus commands respect with its stature and instantly becomes the undisputed centrepiece of your display.
