Origin and world of the character
Marshall Lee is a fictional character introduced into the world of the American animated television series Adventure Time, created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. His story is developed in particular in the spin-off mini-series Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake. Within the narrative, he is the alternative male version of Marceline, the Queen of the Vampires, evolving in the parallel dimension of Aaaa. As well as being a vampire and a demon, he is characterised by his detached attitude and his role as a musician playing a bass guitar made from a family battle axe.
