Player's world and background

Carlos Tévez, born in 1984, is an Argentinian international footballer who played as a striker from 2001 to 2021. Nicknamed "El Apache", he wore the national team jersey 76 times and scored 13 goals between 2004 and 2015. He took part in two World Cup finals (2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa), during which Argentina reached the quarter-finals. At the 2010 finals, he scored a brace against Mexico in the Round of 16. Also a gold medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games (where he finished top scorer), he was renowned for his physical strength, fighting spirit on the pitch, grit and attacking versatility. This figurine commemorates his international career with Argentina.
