Character’s origin and universe

The Armoured Titan is one of the nine Primordial Titans in Attack on Titan. Its body is protected by thick armour plates, enabling it to withstand numerous attacks and charge at its opponents with considerable force.

He plays a central role following the fall of the Shiganshina District, when he destroys the inner gate of Wall Maria after the Colossal Titan appears. This attack leads to the invasion of human territory and permanently upends the lives of Eren Jäger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlelt.

In his human form, the Armoured Titan is possessed by Reiner Braun, a warrior sent to Paradise Island. His journey is marked by the conflict between his mission, his bonds with his comrades and the psychological consequences of the battles in which he takes part.
