Origin and character’s universe
Released in 1985 and directed by Robert Zemeckis, Back to the Future is an undisputed cornerstone of world cinema and pop culture. The plot centres on the complex time-travelling experiments of Dr Emmett Brown, a brilliant yet eccentric scientist. To put his theories on time travel into practice, Doc builds a revolutionary machine by modifying the structure of a DeLorean DMC-12. Fitted with a plutonium-powered time convector, the car must reach the fateful speed of 88 miles per hour to break through the barrier of the space-time continuum. This Funko release immortalises the legendary vehicle with its intricate external wiring and rear reactor, establishing itself as an absolute must-have for all fans nostalgic for the Hill Valley saga.
