Batman: The Animated Series – Series 1 – 3D Foam Bag Clip Keyring – Display of 24 mystery pouches
Protect Gotham even in your accessories with this display pack of 24 Batman: The Animated Series – Series 1 3D Foam Bag Clip keyrings, designed by Monogram International. Each mystery pouch contains a small embossed figure of an iconic hero, ally or adversary from the famous DC animated series.
The display pack contains 24 individual opaque pouches. The character inside each pouch is selected at random and cannot be identified until the pouch is opened. Several identical characters may therefore be present in a single display pack, whilst completion of the entire collection is not guaranteed.
This first series comprises 11 collectable designs: Batman, Bruce Wayne, Robin, Alfred Pennyworth, Commissioner Gordon, Catwoman, Batgirl, the Joker and Harley Quinn. Two rare ‘chase’ variants featuring Harvey Bullock and Dick Grayson complete the range.
Each keyring features the angular and instantly recognisable graphic style of *Batman: The Animated Series*. The characters are made from soft moulded material and presented in a compact three-dimensional format. A clip allows them to be attached to a rucksack, pencil case, zip fastener, lanyard or set of keys.

Origin and character lore
Batman: The Animated Series is set mainly in Gotham City, a dark metropolis where billionaire Bruce Wayne fights crime under the guise of Batman. Having witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, Bruce dedicates his life to protecting the city’s inhabitants and preventing others from suffering the same tragedy.
Lacking any supernatural powers, Batman relies on his intelligence, physical abilities, detective skills and an array of vehicles and gadgets. His menacing appearance allows him to use fear against criminals, whilst adhering to a strict moral code that forbids him from killing his adversaries.
Robin, whose real name is Dick Grayson, became Batman’s partner following the death of his parents, who were members of a family of acrobats. Taken in by Bruce Wayne, he received extensive training and accompanied him on numerous investigations. The collection includes both Robin and a rare variant depicting Dick without his costume.
Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce’s butler and confidant. He looks after the family home, tends to the vigilante’s injuries and regularly offers him advice. Commissioner James Gordon, meanwhile, heads the Gotham City Police Department and works alongside Batman when traditional methods prove insufficient.
Batgirl, the heroic alter ego of Barbara Gordon, is the Commissioner’s daughter. Agile, intelligent and determined, she conducts her own investigations and gradually joins Batman and Robin in their fight against crime.
Among the villains featured is the Joker, an unpredictable criminal with a macabre sense of humour who regards Batman as his main playmate. Harley Quinn, a former psychiatrist named Harleen Quinzel, falls under his spell after meeting him at Arkham Asylum. Created specifically for this animated series, she went on to become a major figure in the DC Universe.
Catwoman, whose real name is Selina Kyle, has a more ambiguous relationship with Batman. A burglar, adventurer and animal rights activist, she can, in turn, act as an adversary, an ally or a romantic partner to the vigilante.
Finally, Inspector Harvey Bullock is an experienced Gotham City police officer. Although wary of Batman and often more heavy-handed than Commissioner Gordon, he remains deeply devoted to the city and capable of showing great courage when a threat endangers its inhabitants.
