The Shelter Drake 5-70O is a Stamina/Defence type, designed to withstand opponents’ attacks thanks to its 5-spoke blade, which offers balanced weight distribution and excellent impact resistance. The height 70 ratchet ensures optimum stability in battle, whilst the Orb tip – a semi-flat, low-friction sphere – maximises endurance on the battlefield. All parts are interchangeable with other Beyblades in the Beyblade X range via the X-Celerator Gear system. The set comes in a multilingual illustrated box.

Beyblade X is the latest generation of the Beyblade franchise, launched by Takara Tomy in 2023 in Japan before arriving in the West in the summer of 2024 under the auspices of Hasbro. This new range introduces the X-Celerator Gear system, a technical innovation whereby the spinner’s teeth engage with a rail built into the Beystadium to trigger a sudden acceleration, known as the “Xtreme Dash”, generating more powerful collisions and spectacular explosions during battles.

In the Beyblade X anime, the ShelterDrake is the signature Beyblade of the character Ciel Kaminari, combining the offensive and defensive concepts of his two previous Beyblades into a single creation. The 5-70O model captures the defensive essence of this Beyblade, ideal for players who prioritise endurance and resilience against the most aggressive attackers in the Beyblade X system.
