Origin and world of the character
The character of Renji Abarai comes from the famous shōnen manga Bleach, written and drawn by Tite Kubo, and more specifically from its successful animated adaptation Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW). The plot centres on the all-out war between the Shinigami (Soul Society's soul reapers) and the Quincy army led by the ruthless Yhwach. Within Gotei 13, Renji Abarai is the passionate, impetuous and deeply loyal lieutenant of the 6th Division, serving under Captain Byakuya Kuchiki. Recognisable by his long, tied-back red hair and intricate tribal tattoos, he wields the Zanpakutō Zabimaru. This figure features him in his ultimate form of liberation, the Bankai (Sōō Zabimaru), testifying to his rigorous training at the Royal Palace and his phenomenal power to face the Vandenreich invasion and protect his most precious companions.
