Origin and world of the character
Mamie Gladys (Granny Gladys) is one of the fictional identities adopted by Muffin Heeler, Bluey and Bingo's cousin, in the Australian animated TV series Bluey, created by Joe Brumm. In this world centred on family dynamics and child development, the young dogs love to wrap themselves in coloured blankets to dress up as eccentric grandmothers. They invent the personalities of strong-willed old ladies, creating comical and spontaneous role-playing situations. This figurine captures Muffin's amusing aesthetic during one of these playful moments.
