Origin and world of the character
Bandit Heeler is one of the main characters in the Australian animated TV series Bluey, created by Joe Brumm. The father of Bluey and Bingo, this Australian Cattle Dog works as an archaeologist and is fully committed to his daughters' education through inventive imitation games. This figurine is a direct reference to the episode Unicourse (The Unicorn), in which Bandit uses a hand puppet in the shape of a particularly cheeky, noisy and annoying white unicorn. He uses this fictional character to deliberately disrupt the bedtime story read by his wife Chilli, in order to teach his daughter Bluey how to deal with and ignore disruptive behaviour and annoyance.- *
