Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, born in 1980 and known worldwide as Ronaldinho, is a Brazilian international footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or winger from 1998 to 2015. A 97-time international for Brazil, he scored 33 goals for his country. He won the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, where he made his mark in the quarter-finals with a decisive off-centre free-kick against England. He also won the Copa America in 1999 and the Confederations Cup in 2005, and was awarded the Ballon d'Or in 2005. Renowned for his technical creativity, the variety of his dribbles, his ball control and his mastery of set-pieces, this figurine commemorates his status as a historic figure in international football.
