Origin and background of the character

In Breaking Bad, Gustavo Fring is a respected businessman at the head of the Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant chain. Behind this impeccable façade, he runs a major criminal organisation and is renowned for his strategic intelligence, his composure and his ability to eliminate any threat to his operations.

This figurine is inspired by ‘Box Cutter’, the first episode of the fourth series. In the lab, Gus brutally kills Victor in front of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, using this act as a demonstration of power and a silent warning to his associates.

The bloodstained orange jumpsuit and the box cutter make this scene instantly recognisable. This edition thus highlights the contrast between Gus Fring’s calm, professional demeanour and the extreme violence he is capable of in order to preserve his empire.
