Character background and universe (Lore)

Sakura Kinomoto is the heroine of Cardcaptor Sakura, a manga created by the CLAMP collective. After accidentally releasing the mysterious Clow Cards, she becomes a Cardcaptor tasked with finding them and sealing them away with the help of Kerberos, known as Kero-chan.

In Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc, Sakura is now a secondary school pupil. A new adventure begins when the cards she had previously captured suddenly turn transparent and lose their powers. Mysterious Clear Cards then appear, forcing Sakura to resume her role as a magical girl and uncover the origin of these new phenomena.

The Siege Costume is linked to one of these confrontations. Designed, like many of Sakura’s outfits, by her friend Tomoyo Daidouji, it combines bright colours, ribbons and decorative elements intended to emphasise the magical and spectacular nature of her card captures. This figurine faithfully recreates the scene associated with the ‘Siege’ Clear Card, with Sakura holding her Dream Wand and Kero-chan by her side.

With her optimism, courage and kindness, Sakura Kinomoto remains one of the most iconic heroines of the magical girl genre, and this Siege Costume version is a particularly elegant representation of her appearance in the Clear Card Arc.
