Tsukasa Hôjô made a name for himself in 1981 with his very first major series: Cat's Eye. It was an instant success, quickly becoming a cult title in Japan, and its reputation spread far beyond the country's borders. It was only two years later that the manga was adapted into an anime (which is extremely popular in France). The good news is that Cat's Eye is back in a Perfect Edition that will delight both long-time fans and newcomers.
42 years after their creation, the Cat's Eye remain among the most famous female thieves in pop culture, even making appearances outside their own series, such as in City Hunter or, more recently, in a totally crazy crossover with Lupin the Third.
