DANDADAN - Okarun Transformed - Plush 13cm

Meet Okarun, aka Ken Takakura, in his famous transformed form with this little soft toy from Bushiroad Creative’s Puchish! collection. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, this soft toy captures the supernatural appearance of the hero from Dandadan in a compact and deliberately kawaii format. 

The Puchish! range is developed by Bushiroad Creative and features numerous characters as stylised mini soft toys. This version retains the characteristic elements of Okarun in his transformed state, notably his demonic appearance and darker demeanour, whilst adapting them to a soft and easily collectable design.

Character background and lore

Ken Takakura, nicknamed Okarun by Momo Ayase, is one of the main protagonists of Dandadan. Fascinated by aliens and unexplained phenomena, he finds himself plunged into a world where aliens and supernatural spirits are very much real.

His fate takes a dramatic turn after he encounters Turbo Granny, a powerful yokai. Following this encounter, Okarun gains some of her powers and becomes capable of assuming a particularly spectacular transformed form. BEM’S also describes this transformation as being directly linked to Turbo Granny’s spiritual powers.

In this state, his appearance changes radically and his physical abilities increase considerably. In particular, he gains extraordinary speed and agility, enabling him to take on the many supernatural creatures that he and Momo encounter.

However, this transformation has a deliberately unsettling visual style, in stark contrast to Okarun’s shy and clumsy nature when in his normal form. It is precisely this version of the character that the Puchish! Okarun (Transformed) soft toy depicts.
