Character’s origin and universe

Mukuro Hoshimiya is the tenth Spirit to be introduced into the Date A Live universe. She is distinguished by her very long golden hair, her amber eyes and her archaic way of speaking. She lived in isolation in space for a long time after locking away her own emotions to protect herself from loneliness and the pain associated with her past.

Her Angel, Michael, takes the form of an immense key capable of locking or unlocking abilities, memories and various phenomena. This power enables her, in particular, to close off her own heart, but also to open passages or interfere with her opponents’ powers.

Through her interactions with Shido Itsuka and the other Spirits, Mukuro gradually rediscovers her emotions and learns to embrace new relationships. This Summer Dress version moves away from her astral appearance in favour of a more peaceful and luminous interpretation, centred on the gentle charm of summer and the elegance of her long hair.
