Recreate Son Gohan ’s battles from the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero with this articulated figure from Bandai Tamashii Nations’ S.H.Figuarts range. Specially remodelled to match his appearance in the 2022 feature film, it combines a faithful sculpt, numerous points of articulation and several interchangeable accessories.

Gohan wears his famous purple dōgi, paired with a red belt and brown shoes. His spiky black hair, focused expression and body proportions reflect the design used in the film. The colour scheme has also been adjusted to match this new interpretation of the character more closely.

Thanks to its multiple points of articulation, the figure can strike a variety of combat poses: martial arts stances, punching, defensive moves or preparing an energy attack. In particular, its design allows the arms to be brought together in front of the body to more faithfully reproduce the Kamehameha stance.

The set includes two interchangeable faces: one showing Gohan with clenched teeth and the other letting out a battle cry. Three pairs of optional hands also allow for a variety of poses, including clenched fists, open hands and positions suited to energy techniques.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Son Gohan is the eldest son of Son Goku and Chichi. Born with exceptional fighting potential, he was trained from childhood by Piccolo, with whom he developed a deep bond based on trust and respect. Although he prefers his studies and a peaceful life to combat, Gohan regularly displays considerable power when those close to him are threatened.

In Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Gohan devotes much of his time to his academic research, whilst Piccolo supervises the training of his daughter, Pan. However, the resurgence of the Red Ribbon Army and the appearance of the androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 force the two warriors back into battle.

Gohan then dons his purple dōgi once more and fights alongside Piccolo against this new threat. The film thus brings the duo formed by the master and his former pupil back to the forefront, whilst demonstrating that Gohan’s power remains undiminished despite his temporary break from intensive training.
