Because of his eccentric mother, Kirara is brought up as if he were a girl. At the age of nine, the year he wins a beauty contest, he meets his new neighbours, Ken and Kyôichi Tosayamada. The two brothers are handsome and cool, and to make matters worse, they can fight! Kirara instantly feels a deep admiration for them, to the point of following them everywhere.

A few years later, by the time the Tosayamada brothers have earned the nickname of 'mad dogs', Kirara has also grown up, but instead of being the strong, virile boy he dreamed of, he has become even more handsome and delicate.
