Origin and background of the character
Directly inspired by the film Fantastic Beasts (2016), the Bowtruckle is a particularly fierce guardian of trees and difficult to spot in its natural habitat. Composed of stems, roots and small green leaves, it blends perfectly into the foliage to protect the tree, the wood of which is generally used to make wands. Very attached to Norbert Dragonneau, little Pickett often refuses to stay in his suitcase and prefers to nestle comfortably in the magizoologist’s jacket pocket. Behind his fragile appearance and great shyness, his agility and innate talent for picking any lock prove indispensable for rescuing his companions from the most intractable situations. This magnificent diorama, designed by The Noble Collection, captures all the delicacy of the creature. Pickett is depicted clinging firmly to an old, moss-covered tree stump, his slender plant-like limbs and large brown eyes sculpted with striking realism. The removable decorative backdrop highlights his natural forest habitat. An iconic and poetic piece, a must-have to complete your collection of magical creatures from the Wizarding World alongside the Niffler and the Demiguise.
