Character’s origin and backstory (Lore)

Meltryllis is an Alter Ego who first appeared in Fate/EXTRA CCC. She is one of the entities created by BB from fragments of personality, emotions and divine data, before subsequently joining the Fate/Grand Order universe.

Elegant, proud and particularly self-assured, Meltryllis is distinguished by her legs, which have been transformed into slender metallic limbs. She uses these blades to move with great agility and attack her opponents in a style reminiscent of classical dance.

Her personality may seem cold, arrogant or cruel, but this demeanour conceals a deep sensitivity and a difficulty in expressing her emotions sincerely. Her backstory explores, in particular, her relationship with love, identity and freedom in the face of the conditions imposed upon her at the time of her creation.

In Fate/Grand Order, Meltryllis plays an important role during the events surrounding SE.RA.PH. There, she develops a deep attachment to the protagonist and demonstrates that she is capable of transcending her programming and initial instincts in order to protect the person she has chosen.
