Place two of Five Nights at Freddy’s most iconic animatronics right on your screen with this Monitor Buddiez set featuring Chica and Foxy. Designed by Youtooz, these two PVC mini-figurines measure approximately 6.3 cm each and are specially sculpted to sit on the top edge of a monitor, television or shelf.

Both characters are depicted sitting, with their legs dangling over the edge of the stand. Their hands — or Foxy’s hook — rest on the surface to give the impression that they are looking directly at the user. Their compact proportions, large heads and little smiles reflect the characteristic expressive style of Youtooz creations.

Chica sports a bright yellow body, topped with small feathers pointing to the side. Her sparkling pink eyes, orange beak and famous bib complete her look. This reflects the festive aesthetic associated with the animatronics at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

Foxy stands out with his red fur, long pointed ears and black eye patch. Her visible eye is a deep orange colour, whilst her metal hook replaces one of her hands and also serves as a support on the edge of the screen. Her elongated snout and the details of her body evoke her appearance as a battered pirate fox.

Both figures come in an illustrated window box. The interior depicts an empty security room, whilst the exterior shows Chica and Foxy perched on a screen in front of a ventilation grille from which several hands emerge. The large transparent window allows the characters to be displayed in their packaging.

Origin and character lore

Chica and Foxy are among the animatronics at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the family restaurant at the heart of the first Five Nights at Freddy’s game. During the day, these mechanical mascots entertain the children alongside Freddy Fazbear and Bonnie. Once night falls, however, they roam freely throughout the building and become a threat to the night watchman tasked with keeping watch over the premises.

Chica is a chicken-shaped animatronic. She usually wears a colourful bib and is associated with the restaurant’s kitchen. At night, she makes her way through the corridors and can be spotted on the security cameras before approaching the right-hand door of the office.

Foxy takes the form of a pirate fox and resides in the area known as Pirate Cove. Unlike the other animatronics, he generally remains hidden behind a curtain before dashing at high speed down the corridor when the player isn’t keeping a close enough watch on him. His hook, eye patch and battered appearance reinforce his identity as a menacing buccaneer.

The player takes on the role of a night watchman who must survive until morning by monitoring the cameras, corridors and access points to his office. As electricity is in short supply, every use of the doors, lights and surveillance system must be carefully managed.

This pair of Monitor Buddiez takes a humorous twist on this situation. Chica and Foxy are no longer being watched through the security cameras: they take their place right at the top of the screen, as if they, in turn, were keeping an eye on the player whilst they work or play.
