Origin and background of the character
Chandler Bing is one of the six main characters in the legendary American sitcom Friends, created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane, which aired between 1994 and 2004 on the NBC network. Played by the late Matthew Perry, Chandler is universally known for his biting, sarcastic humour, his sharp-tongued retorts and his tendency to use irony as a defence mechanism. This particular Pop! figurine captures a classic moment from the series: Chandler dressed in his giant pink stuffed rabbit costume. This hilarious scene takes place during the episode featuring the Halloween party organised by Monica (Season 8, Episode 6), where he finds himself unwillingly forced to wear this overly cute costume bought by his fiancée, leading to a memorable confrontation with Ross, who is dressed as ‘Spud-nik’.- *
